Creating the Perfect Pitch for a Broadcaster
This is a four-week online course for young producers and filmmakers. Getting your project green lit by an OTT or a television channel is challenging. How does one go about it? What are elements that go into a perfect pitch? Should it include a trailer? How long should the presentation be?
Designed by experienced and award winning filmmakers each class would build towards creating a perfect pitch for your film project.
Finding Stories in Nature - onsite film workshop in Araku Valley
Deep in the ancient folds of the Eastern Ghats, Araku Valley breathes in a perpetual shroud of ghostly morning mist. This damp, shadowed world gives way to a sprawling, primeval forest, where the heavy scent of wild orchids and coffee blossoms hangs in the air. Here, time has no currency; the indigenous Kondha and Khond tribes move like guardians through the hills.
Filmmakers Lab is curating a weeklong workshop, where young filmmakers with an interest in nature, food, wildlife, and indigenous lifestyle, get to explore this world.
Bhutan Doc Lab
Creating successful grant pitches for feature length documentaries is one toughest challenges that filmmakers face today. This five-day event invites filmmakers from South Asia who are working on pitch films / trailers. Master classes with mentors – senior producers, editors, and sound designers – highlight how to create that perfect pitch film that can help them come closer to winning that grant.
